On December 30, the "Innovation • Transformation" Gemhorn Jewelry 2020 New Year Gala was grandly held at the Baohengda International Hotel. Distinguished guests including Duan Tiyu, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Gongmei Group and Chairman of the National Jewelry Standardization Committee, and Yang Shaowu, Executive President of the Shenzhen Gold & Jewelry Association, joined over a thousand attendees—company leaders, partners, employees, and their families—for a dazzling evening of performances and celebration.

General Manager Xiao Ping reflected on Gemhorn's resilient growth in 2019 despite economic headwinds and industry overcapacity. He highlighted milestones: the establishment of the Technology Development Center, breakthroughs in precious metal materials, automation, smart production, and R&D—culminating in 10 self-developed smart devices, 120+ retrofitted automated machines, and over 40 patents (3 invention, 4 utility, and 40+ design patents).

Duan Tiyu praised Gemhorn's leadership in industry standardization, citing its 4A standardization certification, intellectual property management compliance, and workplace safety accolades. "A company excelling in innovation and standardization is destined to become a benchmark for the jewelry sector," he affirmed.

Gemhorn's legacy of innovation—from pioneering palladium jewelry in 2003 to developing the patented 990 Hard Gold technology in 2017, which predated and inspired the industry's 5G gold trend. 

"Gemhorn’s material innovations continually revolutionize the field, creating new product categories and profit drivers while inspiring peers," he said, expressing confidence in Gemhorn’s future contributions to Shenzhen’s jewelry industry.

Toast by Chairman Chen Yiwu & ExecutivesThe gala kicked off with a futuristic opening act, followed by a cascade of performances: the majestic "Blossoming Era" dance, vibrant youth choruses, a fusion of calligraphy and martial arts, an energetic 3D race projection, a documentary on Gemhorn’s transformative journey, a Bollywood-style comedy, and graceful classical dances.

A standout moment was the debut of the Gemhorn Sunflower Choir, whose 42 members—vocal talents from across departments—electrified the audience with a medley of "WE ARE YOUNG," turning the venue into a sea of swaying, singing joy.

Amid laughter and applause, the gala concluded on a high note. "In the tides of change, we innovate; in fleeting moments, we seize opportunities. Driven by dreams, we race against time; for dreams, we march forward fearlessly," proclaimed the closing words. Together, Gemhorn and its people stride toward a brighter tomorrow—forged by innovation, shared with pride.
