On January 10, 2019, after a comprehensive two-day audit by an expert panel, Shenzhen Gemhorn Jewelry Co., Ltd. successfully passed the certification audit for its corporate intellectual property management system, fully compliant with the GB/T 29490-2013 "Enterprise Intellectual Property Management Standard" (IPMS)!

During January 9-10, a three-member expert team from Zhonggui (Beijing) Certification Co., Ltd. conducted rigorous inspections at Gemhorn’s Shuibei headquarters and Lilang branch, reviewing documentation and operational practices across departments. General Manager Xiao Ping, Management Representative Zhou Peng, the Intellectual Property Office, and other department heads participated in and supported the audit process.

Following thorough evaluation and internal deliberation, the experts unanimously concluded that Gemhorn has established and implemented a robust intellectual property management system, with clear IP policies and objectives, as well as efficient internal governance. The leadership’s strong commitment to IP management and employees’ heightened awareness were particularly commended. The panel then announced on-site: Gemhorn has passed the IPMS certification!

Gemhorn initiated its IP management system under GB/T 29490-2013 in 2017, with full implementation commencing on December 1 that year. Over the past year, under GM Xiao Ping’s leadership, all departments actively adhered to the standard’s requirements, ensuring alignment between daily operations and the company’s IP goals.
Management Representative Zhou Peng emphasized: "In competitive markets, products with IP protection possess irreplaceable core advantages. As a 16-year jewelry manufacturer, Gemhorn prioritizes innovation as the foundation of growth." The company has invested significantly in R&D across design, materials, production processes, and equipment. In 2018 alone, Gemhorn secured 1 national invention patent, filed 30+ design patents, 2 utility model patents, and 1 additional invention patent. Its five-year target is to accumulate 250+ patents, including 20+ invention and utility model patents.
