To further enhance the fire-fighting capabilities of each factory area and improve the fire safety awareness of all employees, the Plain Gold Factory, K Gold Factory, and Fifth Factory of Gemhorn's Lilang Branch successively carried out fire safety drill activities.

The activities were conducted in two ways based on the actual conditions of each factory: emergency surprise drills and pre-planned scenarios, including multiple links such as casualty rescue, safe evacuation, emergency assembly, and live-fire drills.

The drill simulated an unexpected fire incident in the workshop, where equipment short-circuit caused an initial fire and injured employees. All personnel in the workshop immediately activated the fire emergency plan. The fire-fighting team, evacuation team, and medical team quickly took their positions to transfer the injured to a safe area for rescue.

At the start of the drill, the fire alarm  (resounded through) the entire factory area. The evacuation team guided employees to quickly and orderly evacuate to a safe zone along pre-set emergency evacuation routes.

Zhang Lijun, Gemhorn's Safety Director, summarized the emergency evacuation process and provided detailed explanations and on-site demonstrations on how to use different fire extinguishers to put out initial fires and correctly wear smoke-proof masks.

Safety Director Zhang Lijun Explains Fire Equipment Usage

"Gaining knowledge from books is always shallow; no amount of theoretical explanation is as effective as hands-on practice." To enable everyone to transform fire safety knowledge into practical skills, participants conducted hands-on drills with fire equipment in groups.

Thanks to Gemhorn's long-term fire safety training and drills, everyone skillfully followed the four-word fire-fighting formula "Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep" to quickly extinguish residual fires and calmly tighten gas safety valves.

80% of fire-related injuries come from smoke, so correct use of smoke-proof masks is an essential skill for every Gemhorn employee. Participants practiced wearing them step by step following the "Open, Pull, Cover, Tighten" procedure to enhance their self-protection capabilities.

It is reported that this activity was a test of the fire safety education carried out in June. The drill was meticulously organized, with standard actions and rapid response, demonstrating the effectiveness of "using drills to inspect results and practical operations to enhance skills." In the future, Gemhorn will continue to prevent fires before they occur, strengthen fire safety publicity and training, improve various safety production safeguards, and build a solid safety defense line for all factory areas.
